Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Indianapolis, IN is hiring QMAs for day shift (6a–6p) and night shift (6p–6a) at our detox and residential facility. You will provide quality, timely medical care to stabilize clients and help them engage fully in treatment, while supporting nursing duties and charting.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor's degree preferred) and a valid Indiana Medical Assistant license, plus strong communication and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Stabilize clients to engage in treatment.
• Assist with nursing duties: vitals, drug screens, meds, charting.

• Manage and restock medical supplies as needed.
• Schedule appointments and arrange post-discharge aftercare.
• Assist with pharmacy needs and prescription authorizations.

Now Hiring QMAs for the Day Shift (6a - 6p) and the Night Shift (6p-6a) for our newest Detox and Residential treatment facility, located in Indianapolis, IN.

What You'll Do

• Provide quality, timely medical care to stabilize clients and enable them to engage fully in treatment
• Assist with all nursing shift duties (vitals, drug screens, medication management, charting and reporting etc.)
• Collaborate with extended medical and clinical teams for seamless coordination of care
• Manage, order and res-stock all medical supplies as necessary
• Schedule medical appointments and arrange aftercare providers for post-discharge
• Assist with all pharmacy needs and prescription authorizations

What We're Looking For

• High School diploma/ GED or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Valid licensure to serve as a Medical Assistant in this state-QMA
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Collaborative, multitasking, and time-management skills
• Knowledge of substance use and its bio-psychosocial consequences
