University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Medical Technician 2 for the Specimen Processing department. The role supports accurate handling of specimens used for cancer diagnosis and treatment, receiving and identifying samples, and ensuring processing follows established protocols.

Join MD Anderson as a Medical Technician 2 in our Specimen Processing department and play an essential role in the accurate and timely handling of specimens that support cancer diagnosis and treatment. You'll work behind the scenes of patient care, ensuring specimens are properly received, identified, processed, and evaluated according to established protocols and quality standards.

The hours are 2pm - 10:30pm Monday - Friday with rotating weekend and holiday coverage
As the lead technician assists the supervisor in all aspects of job responsibility.
Performs all job duties in accordance with established protocols
Complete all work assignments in a timely manner.
