Job summary

Holy Redeemer is seeking a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist to independently perform and interpret clinical laboratory tests, automated and manual, ensuring accuracy within established time frames.

The role requires strong communication with staff and clients and ongoing quality control activities. ASCP or equivalent registration is preferred. Excellent customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (MT) in Medical Technology/MLS or equivalent.
• ASCP or equivalent registration preferred.
• Ability to perform and interpret clinical laboratory tests with accuracy and precision.
• Ability to communicate professionally with staff and clients.

Demonstrates ability and knowledge to independently perform and interpret clinical laboratory tests, both automated and manual, within established time frame with accuracy and precision. Is able to perform multiple tasks such as: Quality Performance activities, quality control procedures, ordering, computer functions, and other duties as assigned. Strives to keep self technically competent and current. Ability to communicate in a professional manner, both written and verbal with all levels of Holy Redeemer Health system Staff and clients. Possesses strong customer service skills.
