The role you’ll contribute:

A laboratory professional responsible for performance of all levels of general testing within the analytical laboratory. Provides a high level of technical knowledge and application of that knowledge to department testing and clinical relevance. Consistently functions in a self-directed manner and exhibits complex problem-solving skills.

• Follows laboratory, hospital, and regulatory agency policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Performs cytogenetic testing with a high level of competency according to established protocols.
• Generates and reports results which are used for making accurate diagnoses and prognoses which influences patient care and management.

Required qualifications:

• Associate Required
• 1 related work experience Required
• MLS - Medical Lab Scientist (Formally MT Certification) Required
• MLT - Medical Technician - ASCP Required
• Certified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)-AMT or equivalent certification, Required
• ASCP - American Society of Clinical Pathologist Required

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's Preferred
