Shift:

7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred.
• 12 months of acute care experience.
• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New Mexico license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience:2 years of experience preferred.Charge nurse experience preferred but not required.Oncology skills helpful, but not necessary.

Special Requests:Block scheduling will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Unit Details:The facility is described as a Level III trauma center, while the unit profile lists Trauma Level II.Equipment includes a VS machine, bladder scanner, IV pumps, thermal imaging, lifts, and tube feeding pumps.Patient population is adults 18 years of age and older.Common diagnoses/treatments include cirrhosis, sepsis, pneumonia, respiratory illnesses, wounds, CHF.

Shift & Scheduling:Policy recommends all staff work at least 2 weekend shifts per month.

Floating Requirements:Floating is based on facility needs.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required
