Job summary

Trusted Health seeks an experienced travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Evansville, Indiana. This night-shift role requires an Indiana or compact license, 12 months in Med-Surg/Telemetry (2 years preferred), and 3 months of travel experience. Epic experience and ATLS/NIHSS/BLS/ACLS certifications are expected.

Flu vaccination is required; local cross-campus float may occur. Shifts are 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, with a 48-hour week and up to 14 days off.

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >40 miles from facility to be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials:- Associate degree or certificate.

Unit Details:- High-acuity cardiac-renal Med-Surg/telemetry population including Afib with RVR, Afib, flutter, blocks, heart cath patients without interventions, CHF, COPD, sepsis, BH/CIWA, post-ablation patients, and dialysis.- Expected clinical skills include tele/12-lead EKG interpretation, initiation and titration of drips including antiarrhythmics and heparin, PIV insertion, chest tube and indwelling drain management, CBI, stable drips including heparin, Lasix, and Protonix, antidysrhythmic management including Cardizem, Tikosyn dosing, and amiodarone, and nephrostomy tubes.- Ratios: Days 1:4-5; NOCs 1:5-7. Charge nurse rarely takes patients on days, but takes an assignment on NOC shift.- Teaching hospital; may require precepting students and new hires.

Shift & Scheduling:- Three weekends out of every six-week schedule.- Every other holiday.- Flexible contract hours: 48 per week available upon request.

Floating Requirements:- First to float within skill set to Deaconess Newburgh (IN) and potentially Deaconess Henderson (KY). Two hours notice is given for cross-campus float. Mid-shift float may occur within the same campus; cross-campus mid-shift float is unlikely but possible.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months
