Experience

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 22 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• Travel experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

All RNs (all specialties) must have NIHSS & EHAC within last 12 months. Certs can be obtained during onboarding.

If candidate resides in one of the restricted counties, they are not eligible for assignment. Restricted Counties-Delta, Franklin, Red River, Hopkins, Bowie, Morris, Titus, Cass, Camp, Rains, Upshur, Marion, Van Zandt, Smith, Gregg, Harrison, Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, and Panola.

Preferred Skills/Experience:Teaching hospital experience is preferred.Community hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details:Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population.Non-titrating drips include amiodarone, Bumex, and heparin.Surgical floor.Patient population includes total hip replacement, total abdominal hysterectomy, thyroidectomy, colectomy, sepsis, CHF, AFib RVR, CVA, ETOH withdrawal, and HTN crisis.

Shift & Scheduling:Weekends required.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
