Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses is seeking a Registered Nurse for Medical Surgical patient care in a hospital setting. The RN will apply the Nursing Process to ensure safe care, demonstrate critical thinking and leadership, and supervise assigned personnel.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Texas or applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Provides care to Medical Surgical patients using the Nursing Process.
• Demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment and leadership during care planning.
• Delegates patient care priorities appropriately and supervises staff.
• Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Ensures compliance with Hospital policy and Nurse Practice Act.
• Maintains patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to coordinate care.
