Job summary

Mercyhealth is hiring a registered nurse at Javon Bea Hospital in Rockford, IL. The role involves caring for patients in a 36-hour work week with shared governance participation and a 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM shift, including every third weekend and holiday rotations.

Evening shift differential begins at 2:30 PM, adding up to $4.50 per hour. Requires ADN with BSN preferred; RN licensed in-state and CPR/BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• ADN required upon hire; BSN preferred.
• May require specific years of applicable experience per department guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and State laws practice act.
• Documents according to standards of care.
• Performs assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care.
• Develops and executes a patient plan of care including patient and family instruction.
• Participates in department performance improvement activities and peer review.
