Job summary

CommonSpirit Memorial is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care and support patient recovery across a dynamic hospital setting in Tennessee.

You will perform assessments, implement care plans, administer medications and IV therapies, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes. Required CPR, ACLS, PALS within timelines, and TN RN licensure; a nursing program completion is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing or equivalent required.
• Completion of accredited Nursing Program; upon hire.
• Registered Nurse: TN licensure required; upon hire.
• Basic Life Support - CPR required; upon hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 120 Days.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 120 Days.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred; upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic and patient monitoring (detection and recognition of acute changes and escalation or concerns/critical results).
• Administration and monitoring therapeutic interventions and regimens (IV therapies, medications, safety, falls prevention).
• Effective management of rapidly changing situations (identifying, assessing and anticipating needs).
• Organization and work rule competencies (prioritizing, coordination and meeting multiple patient needs).
• Helping Role (contribute to a healing environment, patient advocacy).
• Teaching-Coaching Function (assess readiness to learn and explain conditions).

• Organization and work rule competencies (prioritizing, coordination and meeting multiple patient needs in a timely manner).
• Helping Role (consistently contribute to a healing environment, providing patient comfort and support for human dignity, serving as a patient advocate and building and maintaining a therapeutic environment.
• Teaching-Coaching Function (assess and evaluates the patient’s readiness and ability to learn, effectively explains a patient’s condition and their interpretation of his or her illness.
