Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Medical-Surgical RN for a 13-week contract in Fort Wayne, IN. The role features 12-hour day shifts (3 days/week) with no on-call requirements and travel patient coverage. Start ASAP with required RN license, ACLS, BLS, and 1–2 years of experience. Cerner experience preferred.

37-bed unit, patient ratio 1:5. Fort Wayne area facility. Candidate submission must comply with license/certification requirements and include a valid driver’s license and home address.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• ACLS and BLS required.
• 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical-surgical care to patients in a fast-paced setting.
• Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare team to follow order sets and protocols.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes per surgeon preference.
• Maintain patient safety and documentation accuracy.
