Are you a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Med/Surg Telemetry? We are seeking a dedicated RN for a 13-week contract assignment ] in Philadelphia, PA!

You’ll play a key role in providing quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Provide direct care to adult and geriatric patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit, including monitoring vital signs, assessing patient conditions, and administering medications.
• Telemetry Monitoring: Utilize telemetry equipment to monitor heart rhythms, identifying and responding to changes promptly.
• Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and other RNs, to deliver a comprehensive care plan.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with facility policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on health conditions, post-treatment care, and wellness.

Qualifications:

• Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
• Bachelors Degree: Preferred
• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
• Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (required)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification (preferred)
• Skills: Proficient in telemetry monitoring and managing acute medical-surgical cases.

Assignment Details:

• Duration: 13 weeks (with potential extension based on facility needs)
• Shift Schedule: Day Shift (7a-7:30p)
• Start Date: ASAP
