Job Summary and Qualifications

  • Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care through oversight of daily unit functions and staffing.
  • Implement evidence-based practices to enhance safety and outcomes.
  • Support efficiency, effectiveness, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and equipment maintenance.
  • Manage admissions, discharges, and interdisciplinary care coordination.
  • Lead staff management, patient experience, and satisfaction improvement strategies.
  • Manage staffing schedules and operating expenses.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years healthcare experience required.
  • 2+ years management experience required.
  • BSN required; MSN preferred.
  • BLS/BCLS required; ACLS preferred.
  • Telemetry/Cardiology experience preferred.
  • Specialty certification within 9 months.
