Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Nursing required; matriculated in a Masters in Nursing program.
• RN licensure in Connecticut.
• Nursing Professional Development certification within one year of hire.
• BLS and ACLS instructor credentials required.
• Five years of recent acute care experience with strong clinical skills.

Aufgaben

• Promote professional service and courteous patient care.
• Serve as primary contact for area schools requiring clinical affiliation.
• Assist with educational programs, certification and competency evaluation.
• Mentor and provide feedback to nursing leadership on staff and programs.
• Facilitate staff development, onboarding, and simulation-based training.
• Collaborate with Nursing leadership on budget and credential compliance.
• Coordinate clinical placements and report trends to Nursing leadership.
• Develop unit-based and online education plans with Nurse Managers.
• Ensure compliance with contact hour programming and agency requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
