We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) team. The successful candidate will provide essential nursing care to patients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective medical-surgical nursing interventions.
- Regularly monitor and record patients' vital signs and other assessments, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to the registered nurse or physician.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately, maintaining strict compliance with healthcare regulations and institutional policies.
- Work collaboratively with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver a comprehensive care plan tailored to each patient's needs.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medical procedures, and postoperative care strategies, enhancing their understanding and involvement in care.
- Maintain meticulous and accurate documentation of all nursing care activities, patient interactions, and observations in the medical record.
- Assisting in managing the work-flow of the med-surg floor, including prioritizing tasks and responding promptly to crises or urgent situations.
- Uphold infection control policies and procedures, actively contributing to a safe and effective healthcare environment.

Qualifications

1. Current and valid state license.
2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
