Job summary

Dartmouth Health is seeking a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) for the Keene NH Clinic. This full-time role (40 hours/week) supports nursing staff, assists with activities of daily living, and handles specimen collection and data recording under RN supervision.

The position requires a NH LNA license and Basic Life Support (BLS). Prior hospital experience is preferred, and the department emphasizes patient care and safety within a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required.
• Must demonstrate keyboarding skills and be familiar with computer use.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with routine patient care activities under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, including ADLs, obtaining clinical data (vital signs, heights, weights), using universal precautions, collecting specimens or performing point-of-care testing and recording results.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment by keeping hallways clear of excess equipment and emptying linen bags when full.
• Assists visitors and answers telephones.
• Assists new co-workers in learning the work of the department.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
