Job summary

SNF Healthcare, an Atlas Healthcare facility, is seeking a Medical Supply Coordinator to manage daily restocking, inventory control, and record keeping in the hospital setting.

The ideal candidate will lift 25–50 lbs, work with Nursing Unit Managers, maintain par levels, and ensure timely delivery of supplies to units within 24 hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Ability to push, pull, walk or stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs.
• Computer skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Restocks all unit shelves daily to maintain adequate supply for nursing staff.
• Maintains an inventory that is not excessive.
• Completes physical inventory daily and orders products as required.
• Checks and removes expired products or those near expiration date.
• Records receipt appropriately and maintains pertinent records.
• Works with Nursing Unit Managers to organize stock room and review par levels.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Storage areas maintained in accordance with health and infection control standards.
• Ensures orders are delivered to the correct unit within 24 hours of delivery.

• Clean storage areas should be maintained in accordance with Department of Health, JACHO and infection control standards
• Ensures that orders are delivered to the correct unit within 24 hours of delivery to the facility.

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required
• 1-3 years experience in a hospital setting highly preferred
• Ability to push, pull, walk or stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs
