Job Details

Our organization, a leading player in the healthcare industry, is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Medical Warehouse Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional with a background in logistics and a passion for healthcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of our warehouse, including receiving, shipping, freight, and fulfillment.

This is a Monday-Friday opportunity, working the evening hours of 4:00pm - 12:30am.

Responsibilities
  • 1. Overseeing the receipt and storage of goods, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • 2. Managing the preparation and dispatch of orders, ensuring products are correctly packed, labeled, and shipped to the right location.
  • 3. Coordinating freight arrangements and ensuring all goods are handled and transported in compliance with safety regulations.
  • 4. Conducting regular inventory checks and maintaining accurate records of all stock movements.
  • 5. Implementing efficient warehouse processes and continuously seeking ways to improve operations.
  • 6. Ensuring the warehouse is well-organized and safe for staff, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments.
  • 7. Collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless operations and high customer satisfaction.
  • 8. Resolving any issues or delays in the supply chain promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
  • 1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
  • 2. Proven experience in receiving, shipping, freight, and fulfillment.
  • 3. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • 4. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
  • 5. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • 6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and make effective decisions.
  • 7. Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software.
  • 8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • 9. A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
  • 10. A team player, with the ability to work well with others to achieve common goals.
  • 11. Physically fit and able to lift heavy items when required.
