Qualifications

• Knowledge of inventory and ordering of supplies.
• Strong written and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ordering, delivering, and stocking medical surgical supplies to all facilities, rotating stock routinely for expired items.
• Ordering and delivering standard stationary supplies to all facilities.
• Ensuring par level rooms are adequately stocked at all times and reporting outages or shortages to supervisor.
• Picking up controlled drugs/medications from the Packaging department and delivering them to all facilities.
• Delivering all new capital equipment (medical/furniture) from Materials Management to all facilities; must be able to lift at least 100 pounds.
• Removing capital equipment deemed salvage from all facilities for proper disposal as per contract.
• Transporting medical records from all facilities to CMRA (Central Medical Records Archiving) in conjunction with the Medical Records department.
• Conducting inventories of all medical surgical par level rooms with the DOH Warehouse twice per year as required by contract.
