Job summary

Baystate Health is seeking a Materials Technician II to support Distribution Services. You will manage ordering, replenishment, and verification of medical and surgical supplies, while ensuring accurate data across Pyxis and MMIS interfaces and maintaining appropriate par levels to meet patient care needs.

You will collaborate with nursing and clinical teams, perform cycle counts, and uphold sterility and inventory control across departments using handheld devices and automated stations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years related supply chain experience.
• Strong English communication (verbal and written).
• Proficient with automated supply stations and handheld tech.
• Intermediate to strong computer and arithmetic skills.
• GED or HiSET required.

Responsibilities

• Develops understanding of Lawson MSCM and RQC modules.
• Initiates daily stock replenishment and delivers to departments.
• Maintains profiles and par levels in Lawson and Pyxis to meet demand.
• Manages item expirations and rotations to reduce waste.
• Verifies received items for accuracy and sterility; documents inventory.
