Job summary

Dignity Health – Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria, CA is seeking a Materials Tech to ensure the efficient flow and sanitation of medical supplies and equipment. You will disinfect equipment, receive and deliver supplies, and maintain accurate inventory records in a medical setting.

The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with inventory management systems. A CA driver’s license is required upon hire and the position is on site.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience with large ERP systems.
• Six to twelve months of inventory management experience in a medical setting.
• Valid California Driver's License, upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Disinfects equipment and carts per policy.
• Receives, stores, issues and delivers supplies; prepares items for shipping.
• Performs daily par-level counts and data entry for issued stock.
• Maintains tidy work areas and participates in inventory/cycle counts.
• Documents receipts in the Materials Management Information System as required.
• Sorts and delivers inter-office mail and packages; provides courier services as needed.
