Responsibilities

  • Provide central support for SCORE, Honor Code Council, and OIME’s Professionalism Support Team.
  • Assist the Student Support team with administrative day-to-day operations.
  • Coordinate, schedule meetings, and take meeting minutes for the various committees.
  • Prepare meeting materials for committee members for all committees and support the chairs in fulfilling their responsibilities.
  • Utilize various data systems to obtain, verify, and maintain accurate student status across different files and documents.
  • Prepare periodic data reports for committee chairs.
  • Draft and verify student communications regarding committee outcomes, while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Coordinate the Positive Learning Environment Awards, including distributing a survey to all medical students to identify recipients across learning environments.
  • Promote a positive and productive environment, encouraging teamwork and collaboration, and demonstrate an innovative attitude toward the program.
  • Independently problem-solve when issues arise and seek assistance when unable or unsure how to solve a problem.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service, productivity, and Rush core values.
  • Other relevant duties as assigned.

Pay Range: $23.12 - $32.66 per hour

Summary

Job Summary:

The Medical Student Affairs Education Coordinator will support the Chairs and committee members for the following committee’s: Special Committee on the RMC Environment (SCORE), Honor Code Council, and OIME’s Professionalism Team. This role is also responsible for assisting with the administrative, day-to-day operations for the Student Support pillar within Medical Student Affairs. The coordinator will exemplify the Rush mission, vision and values and act in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.
