Medical Staff Services Credentialing Specialist

Regions Hospital is seeking a credentialing specialist with strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written skills to join our Medical Staff Services department. The medical staff credentialing specialist position is responsible for administration of medical staff services at Regions Hospital. This is done by managing internal workflow, creating and driving timelines, coordinating work between the medical staff and hospital leadership, governing committees, and system wide departments/services. This person will apply their skills and operational expertise to ensure all activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

Work Schedule:

Monday- Friday 7am - 3:30pm

Required Qualifications:

Associate degree or 3 or more years of administration or credentialing & privileging experience in healthcare or business

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Credentialing and privileging of licensed independent practitioners; medical staff office
  • 3-5 years of experience working collaboratively with physicians, medical staff or other leaders.
  • CPCS
