The Medical Staff Services Coordinator supports credentialing initiatives and compliance, maintaining knowledge of applicable policies, standards, and regulations. The role involves managing medical staff administration, education, accreditation, compliance, credentialing, privileging, performance improvement, risk management, data management, and system coordination.
Key responsibilities include facilitating committee meetings, maintaining governance documents, supporting staff orientation and education, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, managing credentialing and privileging processes, coordinating peer reviews, managing data and information security, and collaborating across HCA Healthcare systems.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred), at least one year of credentialing experience (preferred), experience with HCA Healthcare systems (preferred), and certification as a Provider Credentialing Specialist (preferred).
