Job summary

Desert Valley Medical Group seeks a credentialing professional to support Medical Staff Services. You will manage credentialing, enrollments, and CAQH profiles, interfacing with physicians and staff to ensure timely, accurate credentialing and provider data.

The role requires an Associate degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years in Medical Staff Services, and proficiency in MS Office. This on-site position offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred or equivalent education/experience.
• CPES and/or CPCS certification preferred
• Minimum of 3 years technical/administrative experience in Medical Staff Services/Credentialing or contracting in acute care hospital.
• Strong computer, communication, and writing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of practitioner enrollment terminology and documents required for enrollment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates credentialing processes for medical staff departments and assignments by the Director/Manager.
• Manages payer enrollment applications, submissions, roster maintenance and provider directory validation.
• Maintains CAQH practitioner profiles and reports; supports annual/semi-annual renewals.
• Interacts with physicians and medical group staff in a professional, collaborative manner.
