The role requires performing diagnostic general and vascular ultrasound, explaining exams to patients, preparing rooms and equipment, and providing preliminary interpretations under physician supervision; ARRT or ARDMS registration is required, with OB/General ultrasound experience preferred.

Demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology, operation of sonography equipment, operation of the electronic radiology systems, preparation of patient room/equipment/medications, and maintains adequate supply inventory.Explains examination and procedure to patient and completes departmental documentation.
