Base pay range

$50,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr

MSA Hospice of the Lowcountry, a proud member of the Medical Services of America family, is seeking an experienced Full-Time Medical Social Worker for our hospice patients in Bluffton, Hilton Head, Beaufort, Ridgeland, Hardeeville (Jasper, Beaufort) SC.

· Provides social work services in accordance with the physician’s plan of treatment.

· Works with the interdisciplinary team directly or through coordination of team members to provide appropriate assessment and support to patients and families.

· Provides assessment for normal and complicated grief and offers bereavement counseling as appropriate.

· Serves as a liaison with other community resources.

Job Requirements:

· Master's or Bachelor's degree in social work from an accredited or approved school by the Council of Social Work Education.

· Currently licensed to practice as a social worker in SC.

· Minimum of one-year hospice experience preferred.

· Valid Driver's License.
