A leading healthcare system is seeking a Surgery Coordinator to manage surgical schedules and patient pre-op processes. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, relevant experience, and strong communication skills to handle patient inquiries and coordinate with hospitals. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency of surgical operations and ensuring compliance with medical protocols.
Responsible for coordinating and maintaining surgical schedules for the practice. Coordinates with hospitals to arrange for patient pre-op testing and medical clearances. Responsible for triaging phone calls appropriately and maintaining the Physician’s weekly schedule, including coordinating academic meetings and travel arrangements.
