Job Overview

This position supports day-to-day secretarial, office, supply ordering, and operational tasks for a single site, including planning, organizing, and staffing. It involves scheduling support for physicians and managing work schedules.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of healthcare experience, including staffing and scheduling.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
  • Three years of healthcare experience, including staffing and scheduling.
  • Medical transcription experience.
Duties and Responsibilities

Handling administrative duties, verifying insurance, completing authorizations, communicating with patients and insurance, scheduling appointments, maintaining records, managing supplies, and patient education. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Physical Requirements
  • Frequent sitting, occasional standing, lifting 10-15 lbs.
  • Exposure to office environment, manual dexterity for computer use, visual and auditory capabilities.
