Job summary

CoxHealth is looking for a capable clerical professional to support the OBGYN department in a fast-paced environment. You will handle typing, filing, supply orders, and patient communications to ensure smooth departmental operations.

The role requires strong Verbal and written communication, ability to work independently and in teams, and proficiency with Word processing and multi-line phones. Experience in medical office settings is preferred, with a high school diploma or GED required.

Proficient in a variety of clerical duties in department including typing, filing, ordering of supplies, charging, use of computer programs, as necessary to maintain departmental operations. Must demonstrate effective communication skills both verbal and written. Makes suggestions, and implements change as necessary to improve the function of the department.

Education

• Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent OR obtain GED within 2 yrs
