Job summary

Granite Hills Hospital in West Allis, WI is seeking a Medical Scribe to provide real-time documentation support to physicians and clinicians, accurately recording patient encounters, histories, exam findings, assessments and treatment plans. We are dedicated to offering high-quality, patient centered behavioral healthcare for the greater Milwaukee community. Our new 120-bed facility features evidence-based treatment for adolescents, adults, and older adults.

The Medical Scribe will Provide real-time documentation support to physicians and other healthcare providers by accurately recording patient encounters, histories, exam findings, assessments, and treatment plans. Key responsibilities include entering information into the electronic health record, preparing charts, tracking test results, and assisting with clinical workflow to improve efficiency and patient care. Required skills typically include strong medical terminology knowledge, excellent typing and listening skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
