Chicago ENT is seeking a full-time Medical Scribe to support the Medical Director in our Otolaryngology practice in Skokie, IL. The role focuses on documenting patient visits and procedures in real-time, while supporting administrative tasks and research involvement.
Responsibilities include transcribing notes, maintaining accurate medical records in the EHR, coordinating scheduling and telehealth, and assisting with cross-cover for triage as needed.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of medical terminology, and experience working in a medical setting. The Medical Scribe portion of the role will be responsible for documenting all patient visits, procedures, and medical records in real-time, as well as supporting the Medical Director and Lead Medical Assistant in other administrative and clinical tasks.
This is a full-time position with a Monday-Friday schedule, although some evening or weekend work may be required. The work environment is a busy medical practice, which may be fast-paced and require the ability to handle multiple tasks at once. The position will require standing and sitting for extended periods and may require some light lifting.
There is a research assistant aspect of the role that is completely voluntary with research being conducted during the off hours of the clinic. This will provide an opportunity for the candidate to participate with the research team and potentially receive mention in published papers. The goal for this position is to help candidates match for future residency programs.
