Responsibilities

• Produce medical reports, records, and correspondence for Physicians.
• Review and edit transcriptions for accuracy in spelling, grammar, and medical terminology.
• Maintain and update medical files and databases, including medical histories.
• Listen to and transcribe audio files related to patient records.
• Take calls from patients and manage inquiries.
• Ensure accurate documentation within electronic health records.
  
  

Essential Skills

• Prior experience working as a medical scribe in a medical ambulatory setting.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Fast and accurate typing abilities.
• Ability to transcribe medical audio files.
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  
  

Work Environment

This position is based in a medical office clinic. Working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
