Job summary

PhysAssist Scribes – Mount Vernon, IL is seeking candidates to gain medical experience in the emergency department at St. Mary's Good Samaritan. Scribes work alongside physicians, documenting patient histories and examinations.

Responsibilities include entering x-ray, lab, and diagnostic results, preparing follow-up plans, and supporting clinicians throughout the shift. EMT, Medical Research Assistant, CNA, Phlebotomist experience a plus; learn medical terminology and clinical profiles.

PhysAssist Scribes – Mount Vernon, IL
We are currently looking for candidates, who are interested in gaining medical experience, to join our team at PhysAssist Scribes in Mt. Vernon, IL. Our scribes work in the emergency department at St. Mary's Good Samaritan.

As a medical scribe you will do the following:

• Work side by side physicians as they see patients
• Document the patient history
• Document the physical exam
• Prepare plans for follow up care
• Enter x-ray, lab, and diagnostic test results

Physician Shadowing, EMT, Medical Research Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, and Phlebotomist experience a plus!
