Job summary

OrthoArizona is hiring entry-level Medical Scribes to work closely with our orthopedic and sports medicine teams in Mesa, AZ. This role is ideal for Pre-Med, Pre-PA, or Pre-Nursing candidates seeking hands-on patient care experience, documentation in exam rooms, and exposure to diagnostics, labs, and treatment planning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Fast and accurate typing skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accompany orthopedic surgeons in the exam room to document patient visits.
• Type detailed notes, including History of Present Illness (HPI), physical examinations, imaging dictations, assessments, and treatment plans.
• Input diagnosis codes and office visit orders.
• Receive a letter of recommendation attesting to dedication and skills for future career and education.
