Primary Purpose of Job (Job Summary)
● Lead Medical Science Manager (MSM) team to be field-based medical expertises for medical science in assigned disease area and develop and execute territory medical plan aligned with Disease Area medical strategy.
● Strengthen TAE management in the field by building up and continuously improving the capability and capacity of MSM DA team to ensure high quality scientific engagement.
● Provide mentorship to MSM for career development.
● Enhance the cross-functional collaboration between MSM team and cross-functional stakeholders.
● Contribute to global innovative initiative development and lead the implementation in China for assigned disease area.
● Actively lead cross-functional projects as medical expert.
● Ensure strict medical compliance in MSM daily activities.

Qualification and Experience
Education/Qualifications
● Major in Clinical medicine, Pharma, or Science.
● Master Degree or above (preferred).
● >5 years working experience in medical affairs or relevant functions in pharmaceutical company.
Leadership Competencies
● Experienced strategic thinking and planning skills.
● Demonstrated strong ability in cross-functional leadership.
● Proven experiences in people and budget management in relevant pharmaceutical organizations.
● >3 years of people management experiences is preferred.
Job Required Competencies
● Expertise in the Therapeutic area of relevance with an established TAE network.
● Demonstrated strong work ethic, and proven track record of delivering high quality within timelines.
● Demonstrated ability to think strategically and align with a wide range of stakeholders.
● Ability to motivate the team members working towards shared goals.
● Ability to work in a changing and complex circumstance proactively.
