The Opportunity

At Relay Therapeutics, we are on a mission to transform the treatment landscape for breast cancer through precision medicine. As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), you’ll play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our science and the oncology community. In this field-based role, you’ll engage with oncologists, clinical researchers, and healthcare professionals to provide scientific insights, support clinical trials, and drive awareness of our investigational therapies.

If you’re committed to advancing breast cancer research and thrive on scientific exchange, we’d love to have you on our team!

Your Role
  • Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) – Build and maintain relationships with oncologists, researchers, and other key stakeholders in your region to exchange scientific insights and discuss the latest advances in breast cancer research.
  • Support Clinical Trials & Patient Recruitment – Work closely with trial sites, investigators, and healthcare providers to facilitate patient enrollment, answer medical questions, and troubleshoot site-related challenges.
  • Provide Scientific & Medical Education – Deliver presentations and lead discussions on breast cancer, biomarker testing, and Relay Tx’s clinical programs at hospitals, cancer centers, and conferences.
  • Stay Ahead of the Science – Continually update your knowledge of emerging breast cancer treatments, competitive therapies, and the evolving landscape of precision medicine.
  • Represent Relay Tx at Key Events – Attend and contribute to major oncology conferences, advisory boards, and investigator meetings.
  • Gather & Share Field Insights – Capture feedback from healthcare professionals to help inform Relay Tx’s clinical and medical strategies.
  • Ensure Compliance & Ethical Exchange – Adhere to industry regulations, company policies, and legal guidelines in all interactions.
Your Background
  • Advanced degree preferred (PharmD, PhD, MD); other relevant clinical backgrounds (NP, PA, RPh) considered with significant experience.
  • 2+ years in an MSL or similar field-based role, ideally in solid tumor oncology with a strong focus on breast cancer.
  • Deep understanding of oncology, clinical research, and biomarker testing.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to tailor scientific discussions to different audiences.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage your schedule effectively in a field-based role.
  • Comfortable traveling up to 60%, including overnight stays for site visits, conferences, and team meetings.
