Job description

As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), you’ll play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our science and the oncology community. In this field-based role, you’ll engage with oncologists, clinical researchers, and healthcare professionals to provide scientific insights, support clinical trials, and drive awareness of our investigational therapies.

Your Role
  • Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) – Build and maintain relationships with oncologists, researchers, and other key stakeholders in your region to exchange scientific insights and discuss the latest advances in breast cancer research.
  • Support Clinical Trials & Patient Recruitment – Work closely with trial sites, investigators, and healthcare providers to facilitate patient enrollment, answer medical questions, and troubleshoot site-related challenges.
  • Provide Scientific & Medical Education – Deliver presentations and lead discussions on breast cancer, biomarker testing, and Relay Tx’s clinical programs at hospitals, cancer centers, and conferences.
  • Stay Ahead of the Science – Continually update your knowledge of emerging breast cancer treatments, competitive therapies, and the evolving landscape of precision medicine.
  • Represent Relay Tx at Key Events – Attend and contribute to major oncology conferences, advisory boards, and investigator meetings.
  • Gather & Share Field Insights – Capture feedback from healthcare professionals to help inform Relay Tx’s clinical and medical strategies.
  • Ensure Compliance & Ethical Exchange – Adhere to industry regulations, company policies, and legal guidelines in all interactions.
Your Background
  • Advanced degree preferred (PharmD, PhD, MD); other relevant clinical backgrounds (NP, PA, RPh) considered with significant experience.
  • 2+ years in an MSL or similar field-based role, ideally in solid tumor oncology with a strong focus on breast cancer.
  • Deep understanding of oncology, clinical research, and biomarker testing.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to tailor scientific discussions to different audiences.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage your schedule effectively in a field-based role.
  • Comfortable traveling up to 60%, including overnight stays for site visits, conferences, and team meetings.
