Job summary

Myriad's Precision Oncology unit is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to advance somatic/tumor genomics, liquid and tissue profiling, and biomarker-driven therapies.

Responsibilities include maintaining expertise on NGS assays and biomarkers, engaging with clinicians and KOLs, delivering scientific education, interpreting complex molecular data, and supporting clinical strategy through cross-functional collaboration during extensive travel across TX/LA.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a biomedical field with 3+ years in oncology or molecular diagnostics.
• Experience with somatic/NGS data is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 50-80% to TX/LA and conferences.

Responsibilities include maintaining expertise on NGS assays and biomarkers, engaging with clinicians and KOLs, delivering scientific education, interpreting complex molecular data, and supporting clinical and scientific strategy through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications: Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, MS, NP/PA) with 3+ years in oncology, molecular diagnostics, or related fields; prior somatic/NGS experience preferred; strong communication skills; ability to interpret molecular data; willingness to travel 50-80%.

High-value: Oncology, precision medicine, liquid/tissue genotyping, biomarker interpretation, targeted therapies, understanding of NCCN/ASCO/ESMO guidelines, and experience engaging clinicians and academic centers.

Work setup involves extensive travel across TX and LA, including conferences and meetings.
