ADC Therapeutics is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to serve the Pacific Northwest region (WA, OR, ID). You will provide credible medical and scientific information about ADCs, build peer-level relationships with KOLs and HPs, and support the marketed product and pipeline.

This field-based role requires a life sciences background, MSL experience, travel ~50-60%, and a commitment to ethical engagement. Location: within territory; report to Head of Field Medical Affairs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Advanced degree in life sciences (MD, PhD or PharmD) preferred.
  • MSL experience required.
  • Previous hematology/oncology experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of PhRMA and OIG guidelines.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide medical and scientific information to HCPs about ADCs and the pipeline.
  • Develop territory plans and build relationships with KOLs and HCPs.
  • Maintain hematology/oncology clinical knowledge.
  • Cover sessions at scientific congresses and collect insights.
  • Explain mechanism of action, clinical data, and RWE to customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and uphold ethical standards.

Position Overview:

The MSL is responsible for liaising with a variety of internal and external customers and providing medical and scientific information on the appropriate utilization of ADCT’s product. They will serve as experts in the therapeutic area and disease state area and support the marketed product and pipeline portfolio. This includes developing peer-level relationships with customers at the national, regional and local levels, researchers, population-based decision makers in the payer community consistent with Medical Affairs objectives. This field-based position will collect field insights to inform medical affairs objectives. Job level (MSL, Sr., A.D.) will be commensurate with experience and education. The position will report to the Head of Field Medical Affairs and Medical Communications.

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide healthcare professionals (HCPs) credible, balanced, scientific information about ADCT and its product, pipeline, research activities, and ADCT product development.
  • Respond to unsolicited medical information requests in the field.
  • Develop territory plans to initiate and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Health Care Providers (HCPs).
  • Maintain medical expertise and a strong understanding of hematology/oncology clinical practice.
  • Cover sessions and collect insights at scientific congresses.
  • Develop and demonstrate competencies in the understanding and communication of relevant scientific information, including but not limited to disease state, therapeutic landscape, clinical data, mechanism of action for therapeutics agents, RWE.
  • Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards and in accordance with the relevant guidelines.
  • Collaborate with key functional leaders and project team members, building collegiate, compliant and successful teams.
  • Ensure alignment across functions by working in partnership with key stakeholders.
Requirements
Who You Are:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Advanced degree in life sciences (MD, PharmD or PhD) preferred.
  • MSL experience required.
  • Previous experience of working within hematology oncology preferred.
  • Proven ability to create and sustain relationships with industry leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and work effectively with minimal supervision in a constantly changing environment.
  • Knowledge of the PhRMA, OIG and other relevant guidelines.
  • Good understanding of the clinical development process and the ICH-GCP guidelines.

Additional information:
  • Field-based role – must be located within the pre-specified regional territory.
