A global biopharmaceutical company is seeking a remote Medical Science Liaison focused on developing relationships with key medical experts in ophthalmology. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in Medical Affairs or a similar role, along with a strong network in the ophthalmology community. This position requires significant travel and offers a competitive salary range of $170,000 to $255,000 annually along with comprehensive benefits.
Position Summary:
The Apellis MSL is a remote role focused on developing and maintaining peer-to-peer relationships with key medical experts. This role will primarily support the Apellis ophthalmology program. The MSL will collaborate with physicians and other medical experts to support trial enrollment, provide program and protocol training and ensure that health care professionals have the most up to date information as the clinical development programs mature.
Territory Requirement: Candidate must reside in one of the following states: North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, or West Virginia.

Base salary for this role will consider multiple factors, including but not limited to, candidate qualifications, relevant expertise, specialized skills, and industry experience in complement-targeted therapies. The targeted base salary range for this position is $170,000.00 - $255,000.00 per year.
