Job description

We are a growth-stage medical technology company developing advanced antimicrobial wound dressings and biomaterials designed to support faster, safer healing. Our platform combines proprietary nanotechnology with a growing base of clinical evidence to help reduce infection risk, improve workflow efficiency, and improve outcomes across acute, surgical, and chronic wound care settings

We are seeking an Associate Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our Clinical Affairs team. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinically trained professional with a background in burn care who is looking to transition into a field-based medical and clinical affairs role. Reporting to the VP of Clinical Affairs, this person will serve as a scientific and clinical resource to healthcare professionals while helping support education, evidence generation, and external engagement.

What You’ll Do
  • Deliver clinical and scientific education to physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Support onboarding, training, and ongoing education for provider partners.
  • Respond to clinical questions related to product use, outcomes, and best practices.
  • Build relationships with key opinion leaders, clinical experts, and research partners.
  • Support clinical research initiatives, including study planning, execution, and scientific dissemination.
  • Gather field insights and communicate emerging trends, unmet needs, and provider feedback to internal teams.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Clinical Affairs, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Research, and Commercial teams.
  • Contribute to scientific materials, evidence summaries, abstracts, posters, and presentations.
What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Clinical background in burn care or a closely related setting such as burn ICU, trauma, complex wound care, or reconstructive/surgical care.
  • No prior MSL experience required.
  • Advanced clinical or scientific degree preferred; strong candidates with relevant burn care clinical experience and scientific aptitude will also be considered.
  • Experience in direct patient care, provider education, clinical research, or scientific communication is a plus.
  • Strong ability to interpret and communicate clinical and scientific information.
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable working in a field-based environment.
  • Interest in growing into a scientific engagement role within Clinical Affairs and Medical Affairs.
Why This Role

This is an opportunity to join an innovative medtech company at an exciting stage of growth and to help shape how science-driven wound care solutions are adopted in practice. We are especially interested in candidates with strong clinical credibility in burn and wound care who are eager to apply their expertise in a broader strategic and externally facing role.
