Medical Science Liaison, Critical Care and Hematology - Greater New York City

Position Overview

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) develops and maintains relationships with key opinion leaders in the medical community, focusing on critical care and hematology. This remote, full-time role is based near an airport in the NYC region (NY, CT, NJ).

Responsibilities

1. Identify and foster relationships with thought leaders and researchers in patient care and scientific trends.
2. Provide complex medical and scientific information to academic physicians, research centers, and healthcare providers.
3. Support investigator-initiated research protocols.
4. Represent Grifols at medical conventions, advisory boards, and scientific presentations.
5. Deliver presentations to medical groups and act as a company ambassador.
6. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Residency in NY, CT, or NJ, preferably near a major airport.
• Advanced degree in a scientific field (PharmD, MD, PhD, or Master’s in Nursing).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in clinical practice, academia, or pharma.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific data.
• Proficiency in computer skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary ranges from $150,000 to $170,000 annually, with eligibility for up to 15% bonus. Benefits include medical coverage, PTO, up to 5% 401K match, and tuition reimbursement. Grifols promotes professional growth within a family-like culture and is committed to diversity and equal opportunity.
