Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to support our marketed and emerging product portfolio. The MSL will develop excellent relationships with key opinion leaders and regional clinicians, primarily covering the Midwest area including Chicago, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Omaha, and Minneapolis.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identify and build relationships with key thought leaders in urology and women’s health.
  • Exchange scientific and technical information relevant to the company’s market and development portfolio.
  • Manage relationships between key opinion leaders and product teams, providing education on research and development projects.
  • Gather competitive information to support clinical and marketing strategies.
  • Identify, evaluate, and monitor investigator-sponsored studies; develop publication timelines.
  • Engage potential investigators for clinical trials and support ongoing communication.
  • Develop key advocates as speakers and participate in advisory boards and medical education programs.
  • Contribute scientific expertise to educational activities and provide clinical resources for sales and marketing efforts.
  • Represent the company at scientific meetings and conferences.
  • Maintain clinical and technical expertise through literature review and scientific meetings.
  • Lead assigned projects within the MSL organization and perform other duties as needed.
Key Core Competencies
  • Clinical experience or scientific research in Urology and Women’s Health preferred.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Understanding of drug development and product lifecycle.
  • Willingness to travel over 50% within the US.
Education and Experience
  • 5-10 years of relevant scientific or clinical experience in Urology/Women’s Health.
  • 0-3 years of biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
  • 1-3 years of MSL experience preferred.
  • Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD) preferred; candidates without an advanced degree require extensive industry experience.
Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range is $151,700 to $189,600, with additional benefits including incentives, 401(k), health insurances, paid time off, and holidays. Total compensation depends on experience and qualifications.
