We are seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to support scientific exchange within the pulmonary hypertension community. This individual will engage with clinicians, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and other healthcare providers, providing medical and scientific insights while supporting strategic initiatives and clinical development efforts. The role requires a deep understanding of the PH landscape and functions as a regional scientific resource, working collaboratively across multiple internal teams.
Qualifications:
- Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent) required
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in pulmonary hypertension, pharmaceutical, or biotech sectors
- Prior MSL experience (minimum 5 years) strongly preferred
- Established relationships within the PH, cardiology, pulmonology, or critical care communities are highly valued
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically 40–60% of the time
Key Responsibilities:
- Build awareness and scientific understanding within the PH clinical community
- Support the development and execution of KOL engagement plans, focusing on strategic, needs-based interactions
- Partner with clinical operations to optimize clinical trial site support and recruitment
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with regional and national stakeholders, including KOLs, investigators, study staff, pharmacists, and healthcare administrators
- Act as a regional medical and scientific expert
- Stay current with PH literature and deliver relevant scientific presentations to diverse audiences
- Represent the company at regional and national medical conferences; collect and share insights regarding the clinical and competitive landscape
- Provide cross-functional support, collaborating with medical, commercial, market access, and payer teams
- Help identify and prioritize external experts, research sites, and clinical centers
- Contribute to advisory boards, steering committees, and internal cross-functional initiatives as needed
- Ensure timely completion of administrative tasks, reports, and documentation
- Utilize data and tools to gain insights into the PH space, improve engagement strategies, and inform future planning
- Ensure all activities adhere to applicable regulatory and compliance guidelines
