Job summary

Organon is seeking a medical science liaison to support our Dermatology programs in the United States. The role requires engaging with healthcare professionals, investigators, and stakeholders to advance scientific exchange and collaborative research efforts.

The candidate will maintain dermatology expertise, present data, and support investigator-initiated trials while traveling up to 50% locally, regionally, and nationally. Residency in the US or Puerto Rico is required.

Qualifications

  • PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, PA or equivalent education.
  • 5 years clinical practice and/or pharmaceutical industry experience.
  • Dermatology or Allergy/Immunology experience is preferred.
  • Ability to travel locally, regionally, and nationally up to approximately 50%.
  • US or Puerto Rico residency.

Responsibilities

  • Provide medical and scientific support for Organon’s Dermatology programs.
  • Engage in scientific exchange with healthcare professionals, managed markets customers, academic institutions, clinical investigators, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify, develop, and maintain collaborative relationships with HCPs, professional organizations, patient advocacy groups, payers, decision makers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Maintain clinical, scientific, and technical expertise in dermatology.
  • Present data and conduct balanced peer-to-peer scientific dialogue on Organon’s products.
  • Identify pre-clinical, clinical, and post-marketing study investigators.
  • Collaborate on scientific communication plans, medical-to-medical materials, and research collaborations.
  • Support investigator-initiated trials and collaborate with Clinical Development colleagues on investigator selection and site performance/recruitment.
  • Assist with scientific training for Commercial and internal colleagues.
  • Provide scientific expertise for speaker training and advisory boards.
  • Represent Organon at national and regional medical meetings.
  • Respond to unsolicited medical information requests in accordance with policies and documentation requirements.
  • Provide clinical support and deliver data presentations regionally and nationally.

Requirements
  • PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, PA or equivalent education
  • 5 years clinical practice and/or pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Dermatology or Allergy/Immunology experience is preferred
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong, collaborative, and long-term relationships with HCPs, decision makers, and organizations

  • Understanding of clinical research methodologies and ability to independently evaluate and translate scientific material
  • Ability to travel locally, regionally, and nationally up to approximately 50%
