Sarepta Therapeutics is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to build peer-to-peer relationships with healthcare professionals in neuromuscular diseases, focusing on Sarepta’s marketed and investigational products. The MSL will serve as a scientific resource, communicating complex data in a compliant, non-promotional manner.
The candidate should have a graduate-level degree (MD/PhD/PharmD) and at least 3 years of relevant experience, with extensive travel (>50%) and a hybrid work arrangement

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) plays a pivotal role in establishing and fostering peer-to-peer relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) involved in the management of neuromuscular diseases in line with Sarepta’s marketed and investigational product pipeline. The candidate will have expertise in the field of Neurology / Pediatrics and be a scientific expert regarding Sarepta’s portfolio of products. The MSL will serve as a resource for scientific information for key customers, including but not limited to national and regional opinion leaders, investigators, advisors, and physician networks. The successful candidate will be a highly driven individual who combines scientific knowledge with customer service, business acumen, and compassion for the patients we serve. This position requires extensive travel and requires the candidate to be located in IL/MI/IN/WI and covering a territory of the following states: IL/MI/IN/WI.
The Opportunity to Make a Difference
Graduate level degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) or equivalent required
Minimum of 3 years of work experience in research and development, clinical trials, medical information, clinical practice, or other related position(s) pertinent to our therapeutic areas; Medical Affairs / MSL experience preferred.
Demonstrates strong emotional intelligence, optimism, and a solutions-oriented mindset
Proven ability to effectively communicate advanced concepts to stakeholders
Familiarity with and track record of complying with industry and regulatory compliance guidelines
Demonstrated ability to work independently and in collaborative team environment
Willingness to travel >50% of time
Experience and expertise in clinical trial design / execution and interpretation of scientific data
High integrity, sense of urgency, ability to recognize time sensitivity
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional listening skills, strong presentation skills, and good negotiating and influencing skills

This position is hybrid, you will be expected to work on site at one of Sarepta’s facilities in the United States and/or attend Company-sponsored in-person events from time to time.
The targeted salary range for this position is $173,200 - $216,500 per year.
