Job description

Medical School Admissions Consultant, Residency - Advantage - Remote

We are seeking a Medical School Admissions Consultant with prior experience on an Admissions Committee, passionate about guiding students through the application process. Your main role will be to assist students in excelling at every stage of their application, identifying weaknesses, boosting confidence, and improving their overall profile. You will mentor students, monitor academic progress, and help them reach their target schools. This position is remote, open to candidates across the United States and Canada.

Responsibilities include working with prospective medical students to build their profiles, draft application documents, manage relationships with students and families, and provide strategic guidance on school selection, essays, resumes, recommendations, and interviews. You will identify suitable medical programs, offer feedback on research and resources, support project planning with tools like Excel trackers, and stay informed about the latest in medical school admissions to advise clients effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as an Admissions Committee Officer or Admissions Board Member in a Medical School
  • Currently in Residency or completed MD from a top US Medical School
  • Strong coaching, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in project management and editing
  • Experience in education, coaching, tutoring, or admission consulting is a plus

This is an entry-level, full-time role in the Education and Training industry, within Education Administration Programs. The position offers a salary range of $70,000 to $110,000 annually.
