Job Description

We have an immediate opening for a Post-Acute Sales Rep.

Responsibilities:

  1. Calling on the post-acute care market, including long-term care facilities, home health and hospice agencies, and medical equipment providers;
  2. Selling clinical and operational solutions to various decision-makers, including owners, senior clinical officers, and purchasing managers;
  3. Selling products such as incontinence, skin care, DME, advanced wound care, and gloves;
  4. Developing a comprehensive knowledge of Medline’s extensive product catalog and value-added programs and services;
  5. Building meaningful relationships with new customers and strengthening relationships with existing ones;
  6. Cold calling and prospecting to develop new business opportunities;
  7. Presenting new products and initiatives, and educating customers on industry trends and regulations;
  8. Preparing bids and negotiating contracts;
  9. Taking ownership of your territory and growing it as if it were your own business.

Required Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of quota-based sales experience, including cold calling, full-cycle sales, or at least 5 years of similar experience;
  2. Ability to sell effectively across different levels within a customer organization;
  3. Proven success in identifying, connecting with, and closing new business, and building consensus;
  4. Experience with complex sales strategies across multiple levels;
  5. Background in selling tangible products on a commissioned basis;
  6. Demonstrable sales growth and quota attainment;
  7. Ability to present multiple product lines effectively;
  8. Excellent communication and organizational skills;
  9. Stable work history;
  10. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook;
  11. Must be able to drive a car, travel daily, and interact with healthcare providers on-site.

The compensation package includes a $100,000 guarantee ($8,333/month), with additional earnings through commissions and Spiffs. The role is bonus eligible, and Medline guarantees no less than the minimum wage or salary threshold.
