Job Description

We have an immediate opening for a Post-Acute Sales Rep covering North and South Dakota.

Responsibilities:

  1. Calling on the post-acute care market, including long-term care facilities, home health and hospice agencies, and medical equipment providers.
  2. Selling clinical and operational solutions to all levels of decision-makers, including owners, senior clinical officers, and purchasing managers.
  3. Selling products such as incontinence, skin care, DME, advanced wound care, and gloves.
  4. Developing a strong knowledge base about Medline’s extensive product catalog and value-added programs and services.
  5. Building meaningful relationships with new customers and deepening relationships with existing ones.
  6. Cold calling and prospecting to develop new business opportunities.
  7. Presenting new products and initiatives; educating customers on current industry trends and regulations.
  8. Preparing bids and negotiating contracts.
  9. Taking ownership and leadership of your territory—growing it like your own business.

Required Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of quota-based sales experience demonstrating cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales experience OR at least 5 years of quota-based sales experience with similar background.
  2. Ability to sell effectively to different levels within a customer organization.
  3. Proven ability to identify, connect with, and close new business; build consensus.
  4. Complex sales strategy/approach to sell solutions across multiple levels.
  5. Background in commissioned, tangible product sales.
  6. Track record of sales growth and quota attainment.
  7. Ability to present multiple product lines.
  8. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  9. Stable work history.
  10. Computer proficiency, especially in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  11. Must be able to drive a car, travel approximately 90% of each day, and interact with healthcare providers on-site.

The anticipated compensation includes a $100,000 guarantee ($8,333/month), with earnings based on 100% commission and Spiffs. This position is bonus eligible, and Medline ensures pay will not fall below the minimum wage or salary threshold.
